Our Story

In 2019 and 2021, BelaCor Hospitality introduced Coast 2 Coast Subs and Pizzeria Grata at Ben White & Menchaca.

Coast 2 Coast Subs quickly became popular for its authentic Philly cheesesteaks and East Coast hoagies, while Pizzeria Grata, led by executive chef Ben Garwood, earned a devoted following for its Neapolitan-style pizza, handcrafted meatballs, and calzones.

Now rebranded as Grata’s Pizzeria, both ventures have merged to offer an exceptional menu of Neapolitan-style pizza, authentic Philly cheesesteaks, hoagies, and a full bar at 2700 South Lamar Blvd. Managed by BelaCor executives Brandon Garner and Diego Batista, the establishment also features craft cocktails, local drafts, and a range of tequilas, whiskeys, bourbons, and organic wines. Patrons can enjoy live sports broadcasts and a Philly-centric atmosphere.

Diego Batista, founder of Grata’s Pizzeria, reflects on their journey: “Our growth from a bodega kitchen to this iconic location showcases our dedication to quality and authenticity.”

BelaCor Hospitality is excited about the community’s positive response to the merger and looks forward to welcoming everyone to Grata’s Pizzeria.

DOUGH HAD A GREAT CHEW, CRUST HAD A NICE CHAR

Came here for dinner on my last night in Austin with my friend after reading all the great reviews. The pizza was beyond my expectations. My friend ordered a Buffalo chicken pie and I ordered the Roma. Buffalo Chicken - I had a slice not expecting much because I’m just ok with buffalo chicken. It was really good, the buffalo sauce was a little tangy but not too much and the chicken was really tender. Roma - This pie was one of the best I’ve ever had and there are lots of great pizza places in New York. I like how they did their Neopolitan style pizza here, the dough had a great chew, and the crust had a nice char. I’ve had places where the middle was too floppy and the cheese just fell off the slice. The toppings on this pie went really well together with the fresh mushrooms, onions that still had a bite, and sweet peppers that kept the pizza from feeling too heavy. Had a great conversation with one of the bartenders and can’t wait to visit again the next time I’m in Austin.

This is one of the best pizza spots in town. Their dough is nice and chewy and the sauce is excellent. I use to frequent them when they operated out of a gas station. I am happy to see they have their own brick and mortar now!

My family is from Philly, so we know good cheesesteaks. This place was easily the best Cheesesteak I've had in Austin so far. Perfect bread and the meat and cheese were incredible. Will definitely be coming back for their hoagies and pizzas. Plus, they show Eagles games!
